today someone at work actually said, “luckily there will be another supplemental spending bill to congress soon for $81 billion. and we should be able to capture a good portion of that business.” why is it ok to say that? i’m struggling with this right now. anyone want to have a say?

  1. would you struggle with it if it meant that you were capturing a large part of that to your pocket? nice pic by the way. in days of yore i would have tore up that bog with the old landcruiser. over and over again.

  2. “War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives…Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.”

thats what “america’s most decorated general” smedley butler had to say about it back in 1935.
